The Society of Marine Engineers Kenya (SOMEK) has announced the launch of a new mentorship program designed to support early-career marine engineers and technician trainees.
Participants will be paired with seasoned professionals from across the maritime sector, enabling knowledge transfer in ship systems maintenance, port operations, and offshore asset management.
This initiative is part of SOMEK's broader commitment to build a stronger technical workforce for Kenya's Blue Economy.
